"Golden," the official soundtrack for the Netflix animated film
'K-POP DEMON HUNTERS,' has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a
seventh non-consecutive week. According to Billboard, the track
by the film's virtual girl group, Huntrix, secured the #1 spot
on the chart dated October 4. Having remained on the chart for
14 consecutive weeks, "Golden" is now the only K-pop song other
than BTS's "Butter" (10 weeks) to spend seven or more weeks at
the top.
Sajaboyz Hits the
Billboard Top 10
Huntrix's rivals, Sajaboyz, also found success, landing two
top-10 hits with "Your Idol" (#4) and "Soda Pop" (#10), a new
career-high for the group. The series, K-POP DEMON HUNTERS,
follows the idol group Huntrix as they protect the world from
evil spirits through music. Praised for its captivating
portrayal of Korean culture, the show has become a global
phenomenon. It is now Netflix's most-watched content of all
time, surpassing mega-hits like Squid Game and Wednesday.
